A&C’s wedding at Josias River Farm was colorful, joyful, and full of the kind of emotion that comes from celebrating a relationship built over many years. Surrounded by the farm’s gardens and classic Maine setting, their day embraced bright florals, relaxed garden details, and every opportunity to be outside—even when the weather had other ideas.
Lauren Wilson Events worked with A&C throughout the full planning and design process, bringing together a weekend that felt beautiful, welcoming, and entirely their own. A little rain never took away from the celebration; instead, the day unfolded with the kind of warmth, energy, and genuine happiness that made it clear the most important part was simply having everyone they love there to celebrate alongside them.

Lauren is extremely detail oriented, (very) patient, has great taste, and a wealth of experience. We had an incredible wedding that went even better than we could have imagined. She walked us through every detail and decision from the small things like the font on the invites to the big things like securing vendors and a venue. We enjoyed working with Lauren so much, we are honestly a little sad we don't get to hang out with her anymore for our planning sessions. My wife and I don't plan on getting married again, but if we do, we both agree we'd choose Lauren as our wedding planner every time.
